"A quiet pall of horror blanketed Keddie Sunday morning after three people were found bludgeoned and cut to death in a slaying that Sheriff Doug Thomas has characterized as the worst crime in Plumas County in years."
--Marv Snow and Dave Moller, regarding the crimes known as the Keddie Murders.
On the morning of April 11th, 1981, fourteen-year-old Sheila Sharp walked into her home in the remote town of Keddie to discover a horrific sight. Bound on the floor with wire and tape were her mother, Glenna "Sue" Sharp; her brother, sixteen-year-old John Sharp; and John's friend, seventeen-year-old Dana Wingate. The victims had been knifed and claw-hammered to death.
Surprisingly, three children remained in a side bedroom, unharmed and seemingly unaware of the horror that had taken place. Two of these children were Sheila's other brothers, Ricky and Greg; the third child was twelve-year-old Justin, who, over twenty years later, discusses what he remembers of that gruesome night in Cabin 28: The Keddie Murders.
As Plumas County detectives began to investigate the murder, rumors began sweeping the town of Keddie and nearby Quincy: -was this a drug deal gone awry? - was there really a bloody thumbprint on one of the doorknobs? - had someone actually placed a chair underneath the doorknob of the children's bedroom so the three boys could not come out? - was this a crime of passion? of revenge? Or was the brutal attack a random act of violence?
And the biggest mystery of all: where was Tina Sharp?
Tina was twelve years old, blue-eyed and precious; the heart of the Sharp family. And though she had been in Cabin 28 that night, she was gone now. Justin insisted to police officers that "You've got to find Tina, Tina is missing." He could not have been more right.
To this day, despite countless tips and potential suspects, the case has not been solved.
Watch interviews with Sheila Sharp, Gary Wingate, Doug Thomas, and retired FBI agent Larry Ott, along with other members of the Sharp and Wingate families. Hear from Justin; his mother, Marilyn; and from people who have lived in Keddie and Quincy all their lives. See crime scene photographs. Learn what happened to Tina, and witness how her memory lives on over twenty years after her disappearance.

Welcome to DA. And more importantly thank you for doing such outstanding work. To take upon oneself such a task is an incredible and mighty task. I don't have much, but will offer any aid I can in bringing this horrible crime to a close and peace for the familys. I'd love to see who ever did this get there day in court to be sentenced.
